Job Summary

A company is looking for a Prior Authorization Pharmacist (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Perform case reviews for prior authorizations
Complete Peer-to-Peer reviews with healthcare professionals regarding outcomes of prior authorizations
Provide a high-quality review of requested medication with clear notes of determination

Required Qualifications

PharmD degree and pharmacist license in good standing
Minimum two years of experience as a pharmacist preferred
Strong working knowledge of medical insurance terminology and processes
Willingness to obtain additional state licensure as required for the position
Pharmacy Benefit Management experience preferred
