Prior Authorization Pharmacist - State Licensed

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part-time Prior Authorization Pharmacist to join their Pharmacy team.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and render decisions on authorizations and appeals for drugs
• Conduct peer-to-peer calls with prescribers regarding clinical rationale
• Provide internal team support for escalations and questions

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a licensed pharmacist
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license
• Doctor of Pharmacy Degree
• Willingness to obtain licensure/training in new states as needed
• 3+ years of experience in a managed care setting (preferred)
