Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Taking in-coming calls and providing professional phone assistance through the prior authorization process
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of approvals and denials
  • Transferring clinical questions and judgment calls to the pharmacist
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a customer service position with high call volume
  • At least 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician in an administrative support role
  • State or national pharmacy technician license
  • Advanced computer skills in word processing and spreadsheet utilization
  • Experience in coordinating activities in a healthcare, social services, or similar service position
