Prior Authorization Registered Nurse

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pre-Authorization Registered Nurse Intern to review prior authorization requests for appropriate care and setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Review prior authorization requests and approve services or escalate as necessary
• Educate providers on utilization and medical management processes
• Identify and resolve barriers to effective care

Required Qualifications

• Transitioning Service Member or Military Spouse eligible for SkillBridge or fellowship
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma without restrictions
• Minimum of two years clinical nursing experience in acute care or similar settings
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
