Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Prior Authorization Representative to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Notify insurance companies of services and obtain necessary authorizations
• Verify demographic and billing information and assist in identifying authorization issues
• Document actions and interactions in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system

Required Qualifications

• One plus year of experience in healthcare pre-authorizations
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding
• Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent (GED); continuing education preferred
• Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and work in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with a professional demeanor
