Prior Authorization Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Full Time Prior Authorization Representative to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Notify insurance companies of services and obtain necessary authorizations
• Verify and obtain additional demographic and billing information as needed
• Document all actions and interactions related to the insurance process in the EMR system

Required Qualifications

• One plus year of experience in healthcare pre-authorizations
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding
• Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent (GED); continuing education preferred
• Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment
