Job Summary

A company is looking for a Prior Authorization Specialist I in Patient Access Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Screen and process prior authorization requests for various medical services
• Coordinate financial clearance activities, including insurance verification and obtaining referrals
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely access to care and adherence to compliance standards

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred
• 4-5 years of office experience in a high-volume data entry, customer service, or healthcare setting
• Experience with insurance verification, prior authorization, and financial clearance processes
• Bilingual candidates preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications and familiarity with Epic systems preferred
