Prior Authorization Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Prior Authorization Specialist to manage workflow and provide customer service related to prior authorizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the Prior Authorization workflow for assigned facilities
• Submit prior authorizations and ensure accurate processing in compliance with insurance regulations
• Communicate with insurance companies and facilities to resolve discrepancies and gather necessary information

Qualifications and Requirements

• Prior Authorization experience (preferred but not required)
• Previous Long-Term Care pharmacy experience (preferred but not required)
• Knowledge of Framework LTC (preferred but not required)
