Prior Learning Credit Evaluator

Job Summary

Evaluating prior learning for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students, the full-time Prior Learning Credit Evaluator will assess learning acquired through various experiences to determine eligibility for academic credit, while working remotely and collaborating with multiple departments to support student success.

Key responsibilities

• Process prior learning applications and assign them to subject matter experts using approved assessment methods
• Maintain accurate records of prior learning evaluations and ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulations
• Serve as a resource for students and faculty regarding Prior Learning Assessment policies and support the development of prior learning opportunities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Three or more years of professional experience in higher education, preferably in Prior Learning Assessment or related fields
• Experience interpreting academic policies and documentation supporting college-level learning
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Proficiency with student information systems and Microsoft Office products
