Privacy Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Privacy Analyst I to assist with privacy-related tasks under the direction of the Privacy Officer.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource for operational teams on privacy issues and compliance
• Create and maintain educational materials and documentation for the workforce
• Conduct audits of the privacy program and develop reports with recommendations

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in healthcare legal or compliance operations, particularly HIPAA
• Certification in healthcare privacy or the ability to obtain it within a designated timeframe
• Experience in developing reporting tools and analyzing privacy regulations
• Ability to research and monitor changes in industry privacy standards
• Willingness to cross-train in privacy incident management and legal document review
