Privacy Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting Gannett's privacy program, the full-time remote Privacy Analyst will conduct architecture reviews, analyze data flows for privacy vulnerabilities, and provide guidance to ad tech teams while ensuring compliance with privacy laws.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct architecture reviews of the ad tech stack and provide privacy guidance to ad tech teams
• Analyze system designs and data flows to identify and mitigate potential privacy vulnerabilities
• Support assessments of third-party vendors for privacy compliance and manage program metrics and reporting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 3-5 years of experience in privacy compliance
• Strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA)
• IAPP certification(s) (CIPM, CIPP, CIPT) or ISO27001 certification(s)
• Experience with Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) and conducting impactful reviews (PIAs, audits, etc.)
