Privacy Analyst II

Job Summary

Supporting the company's compliance efforts, the full-time remote Privacy Analyst II will manage privacy rights requests, investigate unauthorized disclosures, and prepare reports related to privacy compliance under limited supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Record, process, and manage requests related to HIPAA and state privacy rights, ensuring timely responses and documentation
• Investigate and document reports of unauthorized disclosures of protected health information, keeping management informed of issues
• Communicate with regulatory authorities and internal departments to ensure compliance with privacy regulations and educate on ASH's business practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in English, History, Political Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Master's Degree in Health Care Administration, Paralegal, or Legal preferred
• 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance within a healthcare environment
• Knowledge of state and federal privacy laws, including HIPAA, GLBA, and GINA
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
