Privacy Analyst III

Job Summary

To support the privacy program, the full-time salaried Privacy Analyst III will investigate privacy incidents, provide guidance on the use of Protected Health Information (PHI), and assist in maturing privacy processes while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate privacy incidents and conduct risk assessments, coordinating breach notifications as necessary
• Act as a training resource for junior staff regarding privacy incident documentation and processes
• Lead efforts to identify process improvement opportunities and assist in the development of privacy-related policies and training

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
• Five (5) years of experience as a privacy professional or in a related role is required
• Experience in a Managed Care Organization or healthcare-related field is preferred
• Privacy Certification (e.g., CIPP/US, CIPT, CHP, etc.) is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
