Privacy and Compliance Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Counsel, Privacy and Compliance to join their Legal & Compliance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and related documents
• Manage internal and external privacy documentation and advise stakeholders on legal obligations
• Coordinate with the Security team on compliance protocols and maintain internal policy governance

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in a U.S. state
• 4-5 years of experience in privacy, compliance, or tech law, preferably with SaaS experience
• Deep understanding of U.S. and international data privacy frameworks including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA
• Experience in a fast-paced SaaS or tech environment
• Familiarity with legal and workflow tools like Salesforce and Slack is preferred
