Job Summary
A company is looking for a VP, Privacy and Compliance Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on data privacy and security regulations
- Manage a team addressing privacy and compliance needs across the company
- Draft and update privacy policies and conduct compliance training
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in privacy law, with some in-house experience preferred
- JD degree from an accredited law school and a current member of a US state bar
- Experience in building privacy and regulatory compliance programs
- One or more IAPP certifications (CIPP/US, CIPP/E, etc.) preferred
- Knowledge of federal and state privacy laws, particularly in healthcare
