Job Summary
The full-time remote Privacy and Cybersecurity Counsel will provide legal research, analysis, and guidance on privacy, data protection, and anti-money laundering matters, collaborating with various departments to navigate regulatory requirements and implement compliance solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Research and provide legal guidance on privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity laws and regulations
- Advise business partners on compliance with privacy and data protection requirements affecting products and services
- Support the development and maintenance of privacy policies and assist with legal issues related to financial crimes and AML compliance
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with a state bar
- 3+ years of relevant legal experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or related setting
- Interest in privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, and financial services regulation
- Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills
- Ability to communicate complex legal requirements clearly to diverse audiences
