Job Summary

To lead privacy initiatives and data governance strategies, the full-time salaried Privacy and Data Governance Director will manage compliance frameworks, oversee data protection measures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement privacy policies and data governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulations
• Oversee data protection strategies, including risk assessments and incident response plans
• Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of data privacy and security across the organization

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in privacy management and data governance within a technology-driven environment
• Strong understanding of data protection regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA
• Experience in developing and implementing compliance programs
• Advanced degree in law, information security, or a related field
• Relevant certifications, such as CIPP or CIPM, are preferred
