Privacy and Data Protection Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Privacy and Data Protection Counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a company-wide legal data privacy subject matter expert and advise on strategy and legal compliance
• Coordinate with internal teams and outside counsel on data privacy issues and technology initiatives
• Develop and implement data privacy policies, compliance processes, and procedures

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of legal experience in data privacy and information security
• Expert knowledge of global privacy standards and regimes
• Experience leading privacy and information security investigations and responding to regulatory inquiries
• Experience working on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Juris Doctor degree and admission to a State Bar
