Privacy Attorney
Job Summary
Supporting an established client privacy program, the full-time remote Privacy Attorney will manage data subject requests, conduct privacy impact assessments, and perform vendor privacy reviews while collaborating closely with the client's compliance teams.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and support Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and other data subject rights requests
- Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
- Provide guidance on privacy requirements under GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other applicable privacy frameworks
Required qualifications
- J.D. or equivalent law degree
- Strong experience in privacy, data protection, and/or privacy compliance
- Working knowledge of GDPR and CCPA/CPRA
- CIPP certification, particularly CIPP/US and/or CIPP/E
- Experience supporting an in-house privacy or compliance function
