Privacy Compliance Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the company's compliance efforts, the full-time remote Privacy Compliance Analyst I will manage requests related to HIPAA and state privacy rights, monitor privacy-related communications, and assist in regulatory compliance initiatives under the supervision of the Manager, Privacy Office.

Key responsibilities

• Record, process, and manage requests for protected health information and respond to privacy-related inquiries
• Monitor the HIPAA inbox and Privacy Hotline, ensuring timely responses and documentation of communications
• Assist in regulatory compliance research and provide updates on privacy compliance issues to management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in English, History, Political Science, or equivalent experience required
• 2 years of experience with regulatory compliance in a healthcare environment, focusing on privacy regulations
• Knowledge of state and federal privacy laws, including HIPAA and GINA, strongly preferred
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Proficient in MS Office, including Word and Excel
