Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Privacy & Compliance Counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cross-functional efforts related to privacy and data security
- Provide counseling to stakeholders on privacy and data security
- Assist with regulatory inquiries and escalations, and develop privacy policies
Required Qualifications:
- CIPP-E and/or CIPP-US certification
- 5+ years of attorney experience
- Experience with privacy regulations such as CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, and others
- JD from accredited law school and member of at least one state Bar
- Experience advising on U.S., European, and/or Canadian privacy laws
