Privacy Compliance Director

Job Summary

Owning and governing the global Privacy Compliance program, the full-time remote Privacy Compliance Director will ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while managing assessments and risks across a multinational organization.

Key responsibilities

• Drive privacy accountability and compliance by administering effective processes and leadership oversight
• Manage vendor and asset assessments, collaborating with stakeholders to evaluate risks and treatment plans
• Lead complex privacy initiatives, setting direction for compliance audits and facilitating risk management efforts

Required qualifications

• 10 years of experience in Privacy Compliance and Risk Management for a large multinational corporation
• 7 years of experience using Governance, Risk & Compliance tools such as OneTrust and TrustArc
• Bachelor's Degree in Law, Information Security, Accounting, or Information Systems, with additional experience considered in lieu of a degree
• Expert-level understanding of Privacy and Information Security frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CPRA) and best practices
• Advanced leadership skills with experience in team capacity planning and performance management
