Privacy Compliance Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Compliance Officer - Privacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the corporate subject matter expert on privacy regulations across designated lines of business
• Provide oversight and monitoring of line of business processes and controls, identifying process improvements
• Review, analyze, and respond to potential privacy breaches and incidents

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; substantial industry experience may substitute for a Bachelor's Degree; Juris Doctorate, CRCM, or CIPP preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services compliance or comparable legal experience
• Solid understanding of US and international data privacy laws, including GLBA, HIPAA, HITECH, CCPA, and CPRA
• Strong relationship management and leadership skills
• Proven ability to work in a team environment and make independent decisions quickly
