Privacy Compliance Operations Manager

Job Summary

Managing the operations of privacy and regulatory compliance programs, the full-time remote Legal & Privacy Compliance Operations Manager will oversee documentation, risk assessments, and vendor management while ensuring adherence to federal and state privacy laws, including HIPAA and TCPA.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the development and maintenance of compliance program documentation, including policies and procedures
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and gap assessments to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
• Manage the creation and implementation of training materials and incident response programs related to compliance issues

Required qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in privacy and/or healthcare compliance, particularly with HIPAA
• Strong business acumen and ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels
• High level of personal integrity and ability to handle confidential matters judiciously
• Experience with internal compliance programs and familiarity with privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA
• BS/BA in a relevant field is preferred
