Privacy Contracts Manager

Job Summary

Working remotely, the Privacy & Vendor Contracts Manager will handle and negotiate vendor, supplier, and third-party contracts with a focus on data privacy, security, and compliance requirements while collaborating with legal, security, and procurement teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and manage contractual, privacy, and security risks across vendor agreements to ensure compliance with legal and data protection requirements
• Oversee the full vendor contract lifecycle, including onboarding, renewals, and amendments, while tracking compliance with data protection obligations
• Review, redline, and negotiate a range of vendor agreements, including DPAs and BAAs, while contributing to the development of privacy and vendor management policies

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating vendor contracts, with strong knowledge of data privacy and security
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end vendor contracting processes and partner cross-functionally with various stakeholders
• Experience developing contract playbooks and scalable processes to improve efficiency and consistency
• Solid understanding of global privacy laws and experience with international vendor contracting and cross-border data transfers
• Proficiency with enterprise tools and systems related to contract management and data privacy
