Privacy Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Product Counsel - Privacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of privacy and data governance programs
• Advise on the data privacy regulatory landscape and collaborate with teams to identify and mitigate privacy risks
• Provide support for information security and collaborate on the implementation of new features and tools

Required Qualifications

• Qualified to practice law in the U.S
• Minimum of 4+ years of relevant data protection and privacy experience
• Extensive knowledge of U.S. privacy laws, including GLBA, CCPA, COPPA, CAN-SPAM, and FCRA
• Strong contract drafting and review skills related to data protection clauses
• Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and prioritize multiple projects
