Job Summary
A company is looking for an Associate General Counsel, Privacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide privacy counsel on complex product launches and strategic partnerships involving merchant and buyer data
- Manage regulatory relationships and responses for privacy-specific inquiries from DPAs and enforcement agencies
- Drive cross-functional privacy initiatives and build resources, frameworks, and playbooks for scaling the privacy function
Required Qualifications
- Qualifying law degree and license to practice in the US, Canada, Ireland, or the UK
- 8+ years of relevant legal experience, ideally a mix of law firm, government, and in-house
- Substantial experience advising on privacy and data protection, including GDPR and CCPA
- Technical curiosity to understand data flows and compliance implications
- Experience managing outside counsel
