Job Summary

A company is looking for a Privacy Counsel (contract) to join its team on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

Operationalize global privacy laws and build core privacy processes
Oversee the Data Subject Requests (DSARs) lifecycle and coordinate incident response
Conduct privacy reviews for products and support vendor management and compliance efforts

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, or related legal/compliance roles
Strong working knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and global privacy frameworks
Experience in building or scaling privacy programs and processes
Familiarity with product counseling and cross-functional collaboration
Experience with AI/ML or emerging technology governance is a plus
