Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Privacy Counsel Attorney will provide legal advice on privacy assessments and product-related matters, contribute to training and compliance resources, and monitor privacy laws and regulations to support the organization's privacy program.
Key responsibilities:
- Counsel on privacy assessments and product-related matters
- Create and contribute to training materials and privacy guidance for cross-functional teams
- Monitor and advise on privacy laws and compliance, including reviewing marketing initiatives for legal adherence
Required qualifications:
- JD with admission to a state bar and 3 years of relevant experience in data privacy
- Comprehensive understanding of data privacy statutes and regulations, such as CCPA and TCPA
- Experience advising on direct-to-consumer product and marketing initiatives from a data privacy perspective
- Proficiency in drafting and negotiating data protection agreements
- Experience in the healthcare sector, particularly in direct-to-consumer healthcare, is a plus
