Privacy Counsel (State Licensed)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Privacy Counsel (Part-Time, Remote).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clear, pragmatic privacy advice to support business strategies and initiatives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
• Negotiate privacy and information security terms in agreements

Qualifications:

• 7-10+ years of legal experience, with at least 4 years in privacy law
• Experience negotiating vendor and service provider agreements
• Knowledge of U.S. and Canadian privacy laws
• J.D. from an accredited US law school and bar licensing in state of residence
• IAPP certification (CIPP/US, CIPP/C, or similar) preferred
