Privacy & Cybersecurity Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Privacy & Cybersecurity Lawyer.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity laws applicable to operations, products, and services
• Review and negotiate contracts from a data privacy and security perspective
• Lead the company's privacy and security compliance programs, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
• 6-10 years of legal experience focused on privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity law
• Deep knowledge of privacy laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA
• Experience advising technology or cybersecurity companies on data protection and security matters
• Certification in privacy law (CIPP, CIPM, etc.) is a plus but not required
