Privacy Legal Analyst

Job Summary

Actively investigating privacy matters, the full-time Privacy Legal Analyst will ensure compliance with federal and state privacy laws, manage documentation of privacy breaches, and coordinate corrective actions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate all privacy issues and breaches, providing guidance and education on compliance with relevant laws
• Prepare documentation and quarterly reports on privacy matters for leadership review
• Manage regulatory compliance filing activities and collaborate with various departments to ensure adherence to privacy regulations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; paralegal preferred
• Minimum two years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager, preferably in the healthcare industry
• Knowledge of healthcare privacy regulations, including HIPAA
• Experience with project management methodologies and best practices
• Professional certifications such as IIBA or CBAP preferred
