Privacy Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Privacy Manager to join their Legal & Compliance Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the enterprise-wide data privacy program, including policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international data protection laws, and manage responses to data subject access requests
• Lead the privacy incident response process and collaborate with legal and security teams to maintain an effective incident response plan

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in data privacy, data protection, or data governance roles, focusing on HIPAA and US state privacy laws
• Previous experience in a fintech or healthcare technology environment
• Preferred certifications include CIPP/US, CIPT, CISSP, or equivalent
• Strong analytical abilities and a high level of integrity and ethical conduct
