Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Privacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global privacy strategy in alignment with company objectives and regulatory frameworks
• Serve as the company's senior-most expert on global data protection and privacy laws
• Oversee critical processes for handling data subject rights, data retention, cross-border data transfers, and breach responses

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, or legal/compliance roles, including 3+ years in a leadership position
• Proven ability to lead global privacy programs in scaling technology companies (SaaS or platform preferred)
• Deep, practical knowledge of global privacy frameworks and the ability to operationalize them into pragmatic advice
• Eligibility and willingness to serve as a Data Protection Officer if requested, under GDPR (or similar), where applicable
• Tech-savviness, with the ability to adapt to new platforms and be comfortable with non-traditional compliance workflows
