Privacy Rights Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting the Privacy Office's compliance efforts, the full-time remote Privacy Incidents & Rights Analyst I will manage requests related to HIPAA and state privacy rights, monitor hotline communications, and investigate unauthorized disclosures of protected health information.
Key responsibilities
- Record, process, and manage requests related to privacy rights in a timely manner
- Monitor hotlines and group email accounts, coordinating with management on non-routine requests
- Investigate and document reports of unauthorized disclosures of protected health information
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in English, History, Political Science, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted
- 1 year of experience in regulatory compliance within a healthcare environment
- Knowledge of state and federal privacy laws, including HIPAA
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel
