Privacy Vice President

Job Summary

To support the strategic direction of the company, the full-time remote Vice President, Privacy will develop and implement privacy policies and governance structures, ensuring compliance with global privacy laws while collaborating with various departments to integrate privacy into business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive privacy strategy aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements
• Ensure compliance with global privacy laws and monitor regulatory changes to lead organizational readiness
• Oversee privacy risk assessments and develop policies for data handling and AI usage

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, or related fields
• Deep knowledge of global privacy regulations and frameworks, such as GDPR and CCPA/CPRA
• Proven leadership experience in building or scaling privacy programs
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
• J.D. from an accredited law school is highly preferred
