Job Summary

A company is looking for a Private Pay Collections Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage collection of outstanding private pay balances for Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs)
  • Initiate and document collection calls to residents and responsible parties to resolve outstanding balances
  • Collaborate with Business Office Managers to resolve billing discrepancies and confirm payer responsibilities
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care billing and collections, focusing on private pay accounts
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Experience making outbound collection calls in a healthcare or senior living environment preferred
  • Knowledge of SNF billing practices and payer responsibility structures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
