Prize Designer

Job Summary

Leading the development of high-impact global incentive competitions, the full-time remote Prize Designer will manage end-to-end design efforts, ensuring each competition is well-researched, feasible, and aligned with organizational goals while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of XPRIZE competitions, from problem framing to final documentation
• Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines, coordinating with the Project Manager to meet deadlines
• Engage with external experts and stakeholders to inform design choices and facilitate productive relationships with sponsors

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field required; Master's degree preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in product management, product design, or project management
• Proven ability to produce high-quality research and design deliverables under tight timelines
• Demonstrated mastery of critical product management skills, including budget management and project execution
• Experience in design thinking and problem definition, with strong analytical and communication skills
