PRN Advanced Practice Sonographer

Job Summary

Seeking a PRN Advanced Practice Sonographer to work remotely, responsible for performing ultrasound studies, reviewing images, and preparing reports under physician supervision while ensuring quality assurance and providing education to site sonographers.

Key responsibilities

• Review ultrasound examinations and provide coaching to sonographers to ensure quality standards are met
• Conduct quality assurance measures and discuss areas for improvement with interpreting physicians
• Deliver examination results to patients or referring providers as instructed by the interpreting physician

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or post-graduate degree in management, education, or related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years of live-scanning experience in a maternal-fetal medicine office
• Credentials from ARDMS in OBGYN and Fetal Echocardiography preferred
• Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred
• Proven ability to navigate ultrasound PACS systems for data and reporting
