Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pro Fee Coder - OBGYN.

Key Responsibilities

• Select and sequence ICD-10 and/or CPT/HCPCS codes for various patient types
• Review facility records to ensure accurate APC assignments and coding reflect clinical documentation
• Abstract clinical data and maintain compliance with HIPAA guidelines while ensuring data integrity

Required Qualifications and Education

• Active AHIMA or AAPC credential (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCA, COC, CCS-P, CPC)
• Two years of recent coding experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and coding guidelines
• Ability to code at a 95% quality threshold
• Proficient in MS Office applications
