Job Summary

Supporting the Radiology Department, the full-time Procedure Scheduler will coordinate and manage scheduling for radiology and MRI procedures while providing excellent customer service in a remote position for candidates residing in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule radiology and MRI procedures while ensuring accuracy and effective communication with patients and providers
• Facilitate the timely completion of scheduling requests and coordinate with ancillary departments
• Act as a backup to division schedulers, managing telephone, referral, and appointment scheduling tasks

Required qualifications

• Experience in procedure, surgery, or healthcare scheduling
• Familiarity with internal referral management systems
• Ability to secure authorizations for medical services
• Knowledge of coordinating multi-disciplinary visits and procedures
• Residence in the Phoenix metropolitan area
