Procedure Scheduler

Job Summary

Supporting the Radiology Department, the full-time Procedure Scheduler will remotely manage the scheduling of radiology and MRI procedures, ensuring effective communication with patients and interdisciplinary teams while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the scheduling of procedures and synchronize services with families and ancillary departments
• Facilitate the timely completion of scheduling requests from physicians using internal referral management systems
• Act as a backup to division-based schedulers, managing telephone, referral, and appointment scheduling tasks

Required qualifications

• Experience in procedure, surgery, or healthcare scheduling
• Knowledge of medical record requests and scheduling systems
• Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary visits and procedures
• Familiarity with authorization processes for medical services
• Residency in the Phoenix metropolitan area
