Job Summary
Leading tooling projects from concept to implementation, the full-time Process and Tooling Engineer will manage Blow Molding tooling, process development, and validation activities while providing technical leadership across manufacturing operations in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Manage tooling project scope, documentation, and vendor interactions to ensure alignment with production standards
- Lead mold sampling, process qualification, and optimization to meet performance specifications
- Develop and maintain engineering standards and training materials while supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 5 to 8 years of experience in plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering, or tooling engineering
- Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) tooling and related vendors
- Proficiency in CAD software and understanding of mold design and tooling functionality
- Familiarity with statistical analysis, process capability studies, and validation methodologies
