Process Automation Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

To support large-scale transformation initiatives, the contracted Process Automation Subject Matter Expert will evaluate, design, and optimize end-to-end financial workflows remotely, ensuring compliance with Government Cost Accounting Standards and Deltek Costpoint integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads the documentation of "As-Is" workflows and designs optimized "To-Be" processes aligned with enterprise finance transformation goals
• Drives the modernization of financial workstreams, focusing on the Order-to-Cash cycle and ensuring seamless ERP integration
• Ensures all financial processes comply with Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations, maintaining audit readiness

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in business process analysis within Finance and Accounting transformation projects
• Proven track record working with government agencies or large government contractors, with extensive regulatory knowledge
• Practical knowledge of the Deltek Costpoint ERP environment and its application in government accounting
• Deep understanding of Cost Accounting Standards as they apply to government contract accounting and reporting
