Process Development Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Process Development Engineer to support New Product Development and ingredient qualification in Columbus, OH.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and perform routine Design of Experiments for small scale process characterization
• Execute and report outcomes from small-scale process, ingredient, and product characterization tests
• Operate and clean small pilot scale equipment such as UHT and evaporators

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, food science, or a closely related field
• Preferred 2 years of relevant experience
• Mechanical understanding to operate and troubleshoot pilot scale equipment
• Knowledge of functional ingredient manufacturing processes and food science
• Experience in Manufacturing Plant, Laboratory, and/or R&D Pilot Plant is a plus
