Job Summary
Providing process engineering expertise in a hybrid work environment, the full-time Sr/Expert/Advisor Process Engineer - Midstream Facilities will support the design, optimization, troubleshooting, and expansion of natural gas gathering, compression, dehydration, and liquids handling facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Provide process engineering support for the design and optimization of midstream facilities, including natural gas gathering and dehydration systems
- Develop and maintain process simulations using ProMax and HYSYS, and perform heat and material balances and hydraulic analyses
- Support the design and optimization of natural gas compressor stations and dehydration facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- 6+ years of process, facilities, or project engineering experience in the natural gas midstream industry
- Strong understanding of natural gas gathering, compression, dehydration, and hydrocarbon liquids handling
- Experience with process simulation software, preferably ProMax and HYSYS
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards such as API, ASME, and NFPA
