Process Safety Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Process Safety Engineer, the full-time remote position will manage process safety management programs, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with safety regulations across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain process safety management (PSM) programs to ensure regulatory compliance
• Lead PHA, LOPA, and risk assessment activities, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up
• Collaborate with teams to design safety systems and conduct safety evaluations of processes and equipment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a related field
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of process safety management principles and regulatory requirements
• Experience with process hazard analysis (PHA), HAZOP, and other risk assessment techniques
• Understanding of EPA RMP Rules and managing RMP programs is a plus
