Job Summary
Leading the development and implementation of process safety initiatives, the full-time remote Process Safety Manager will oversee the prevention of catastrophic safety events, manage chemical hazards, ensure regulatory compliance, and support operational continuity across facilities handling hazardous materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of Process Safety Management and Risk Management programs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA PSM, EPA RMP, and other regulatory requirements while conducting risk assessments and Process Hazard Analyses
- Manage incident investigations and root cause analyses to enhance safety protocols and prevent future occurrences
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in EHS and/or Process Safety within high-hazard industries
- Experience with OSHA Process Safety Management and EPA Risk Management Program regulations
- Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Process Safety Professional (CCPSC) are preferred
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
