Process Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Process Technician to support cleanroom optical ribbon and fiber optic cable manufacturing in Newton, NC.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and optimize cleanroom-based optical ribbon and cable manufacturing processes
• Perform advanced setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of ribbonization, fiber handling, and bonding equipment
• Ensure adherence to cleanroom protocols, SOPs, and safety requirements while driving corrective actions for quality metrics

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or related field preferred
• 1-3+ years of experience in optical fiber, ribbon, or precision manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of cleanroom operations and contamination control
• Hands-on experience with optical fiber handling, ribbonization, and precision equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, specifications, and procedures
