Processing Development Specialist

Job Summary

Focusing on onboarding and performance support for Loan Processors, the full-time remote Processing Development Specialist will deliver structured training, customize onboarding experiences, and provide coaching to enhance processor readiness and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver structured onboarding for newly hired processors and provide direct support for at least 90 days
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of onboarding materials and provide 1:1 coaching for processors on performance improvement plans
• Track processor progress, collaborate with leadership, and offer targeted support for specific workflows or loan programs

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in the mortgage industry, including 3+ years of residential mortgage processing experience
• 1+ year of loan processing or underwriting experience at the company
• Experience with various loan programs, including Conventional, Non-QM, FHA, VA, USDA, and Bond
• Proficient knowledge of Encompass and advanced understanding of loan products and workflows
